The primary mission of the Kenneth C. Swan Library is to make contemporary educational materials readily accessible to the staff of the Casey Eye Institute and practicing physicians in the community. Our collection includes current as well as classic literature in ophthalmology and the visual sciences. Literature search and copy services are provided in cooperation with the Oregon Health & Science University's Biomedical Information Communication Center (BICC).
The library is generously supported by the Oregon Ophthalmological Alumni Association and has more than 1,000 books and 100 videotapes and disks. We subscribe to the major clinical research journals in ophthalmology and the visual sciences.
