Cataract

Cataract surgery is one of the most common operations performed, and one of the safest and most effective. The Casey Eye Institute surgeons are recognized as leaders and innovators in the field of complex cataract surgery, and work closely with community physicians to provide the highest quality care and outcomes. They will also help you choose which type of lens is right for you after your cataracts are removed.

The microsurgical techniques used allow for rapid healing and prompt restoration of vision. This day surgery is performed in our state-of-the-art surgical facility, and most cataract patients are discharged within 3 hours of surgery.

There is no referral needed to see our cataract surgeons unless it is required by your insurance coverage. We will be happy to schedule an appointment for you to be seen by one of the following physicians for evaluation:
