The CVCC LASIK Experience
On the Day of Your Surgery You may go through a range of emotions on surgery day nervousness, excitement, curiosity. You may also have last minute questions before surgery. Don't hesitate to ask the staff: they are happy to discuss any concerns you might have. If you are nervous, you may take a sedative before surgery to help you feel calm. (Prescriptions for sedatives are given to you at your pre-operative appointment.) "I wasn't nervous or apprehensive: I was prepared to go through with it. I knew it was a simple process. I walked in, had the surgery and 15 minutes later I walked out and went to bed. I repressed the urge to remove the patches and look."
