Visual Stabilization: Seeing For Yourself
Most people notice significant visual improvement almost immediately after surgery. However, it takes about three months for your vision to fully stabilize. Some fluctuations in your vision may occur during the healing process.

Since every eye is unique, it isn't possible to precisely predict your final refraction. However, Casey Vision Correction Center has extensive experience in laser refractive surgery and uses our patient outcomes to provide the following chart. This chart shows the results of all LASIK surgeries at Casey Vision Correction Center over the past year and can give you an idea of your probable results.

As this chart demonstrates, some patients may be over- or under-corrected after the first surgery. This is particularly likely when higher levels of correction were needed. Once vision has stabilized, patients may discuss the possibility of having an enhancement to "touch up" the final results. (This enhancement surgery is free within the first year.)
