Photography
The Ophthalmic Photography Department at the Casey Eye Institute encompasses a staff of six dedicated professionals providing a wide variety of high-level services to staff and patients.

Patient care procedures include: retinal photography, retinal fluorescein angiography, slitlamp photography, anterior segment fluorecein angiography, endothelial specular photomicrography, scheimpflug lens photography, digital indocyanine green angiography, diagnostic A and B scan ultrasonography and a High Frequency Biomicroscope to image the anterior chamber of the eye.

We operate two fully equipped photographic darkrooms, processing all film and print on site with a rapid turn around time, and a high level of quality assurance.

Topping off our service is a graphic section providing publication and slide production, with full digital capabilities.

Ultrasound
The Diagnostic Ultrasound department at the Casey Eye Institute uses examination techniques of Standardized Echography, an important adjunct to computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The Standardized Echography is essential in providing diagnostic information about vitreoretinal disorders, ocular and orbital tumors, and eye trauma.
